ENHYPEN’s short film ‘Untold’ Concept Cinema was launched on Saturday evening, June 22, 2024. It has a duration of 11 minutes 57 seconds and was directed by Lee Chung Hyun. The film depicts Jungwon, Heeseung, Jay, Jake, Sunghoon, Sunoo, and Ni-ki as vampires in a post-apocalyptic world or human life in a state following a major disaster or mass destruction. The boy group under Belift Lab (a subsidiary of HYBE Labels) does not only display “standard” idol skills such as singing and dancing. They also have to act in various quite tense action scenes.

As a popular South Korean music group, Enhypen has released a variety of interesting visual content to support their songs and expand their narrative in the entertainment industry. “Cinema Enhypen: Untold” could refer to a film project or series created to showcase the group’s narrative and visual strengths beyond their experience in the world of music.

‘Untold’ Concept Cinema opens with a scene of the seven ENHYPEN members sitting in a warehouse with dim lights. The television in front of them was showing news that the government was carrying out a large-scale eradication of vampires. They sent in the military to end the coexistence of vampires with humans that had been going on for years.

They passed through a dirty little alley filled with rubbish. On the back wall of a shop, there is a poster plastered with the faces of ENHYPEN members with the words Wanted Vampire. Apparently, the seven of them were not humans. But vampires, mythological creatures known as suckers of human blood. ENHYPEN is already in the car. However, Jay suddenly had doubts. “We have to take Chloe. We can’t go without Chloe, she said.” Chloe is a human. Chloe and ENHYPEN have happy memories of making songs together. He was not included in the extermination targets. And looking for them when they are being hunted by police and soldiers across the country is a suicide mission.

On the way, they were intercepted by armed soldiers who had previously allowed them to pass but it was all just a ruse on their part. The vampires fought with the weapons they had and with all their might to fight all the existing soldiers. In a world that is collapsing when a vampire cleanup operation begins, the members take a risk and go to save a girl named Chloe. To keep the promise they made to go to Riverfield together.

This is the first collaboration between director Lee Choong Hyun and ENHYPEN members. They were very impressed with Concept Cinema which Idols rarely do. Jungwon himself didn’t think that they could act and make a short film with scenes exactly like a big screen film.
